LEVELING GEAR
In order to maximize your stats in the endgame, it's wise to have your
Wisdom and Constitution as high as they can possibly go when you level up.
You can see the bonuses that you're currently getting from these stats by
typing: score stats
Practice and hit point bonuses from Wisdom and Constitution are only applied
at the moment of level-up. This means that you can take off your leveling
gear and wear more powerful gear for most of a level, and then put the
leveling gear on when you know you're getting close to leveling.
There are a few pieces of leveling gear that a brand new character cannot
collect themselves, as the pieces are carried by mobs that are much higher
level.
Fortunately, there is a donation box close to recall that is often stocked
with helpful items, including leveling items. Check help care to learn about
this box (and a few other useful things).
Here is a list of popular leveling gear and where to find it. If you ask a
high level character to help, most of them will be happy to get these pieces
for you.
